* All stock electronics
* Full custom paint (by Owner)
* Inspired by 1978 Hamer Standard "Enola" owned by Rick Nielsen, custom painted
in the same fashion as by Jol Dantzig (Hamer Guitars).
* Custom "F" plate by the great Ron Kirn (S#040380) The serial number designates
the first date with my wife, and my first Cheap Trick concert, April 3rd, 1980, in Memphis,
Tennessee at Auditorium North Hall.
* Painted with Spies-Hecker base coats ( Ford UA black and WS White Satin )
* Neck fully painted with Behlen Nitrocellulose Instrument Lacquer (Stewart-McDonald),
left slightly opaque.
* Front face of body selectively tinted with "yellowed" lacquer to give it a UV exposure
like look.
* A very nice playing and sounding example. Lighter than usual.
* Interestingly, this guitar was purchased amidst a Big Star kick a few years back. While searching for
a USA Tele in the area, I found this one for sale in Memphis from an older gentleman. As it turned
out, he had ran the mid-town Memphis bar scene back in the day and had been an acquaintance of
Alex Chilton. Every time I pick up this guitar I will go thru the first few bars of "Out In The Street",
the Cheap Trick version of course!
