On a personal note, when I was a kid, my mother would take myself and my best friend Steve shopping with her in Jackson. Once in a while she would drop us off near Pecan Park Circle and we'd hang out at Skeet's Guitar Shop. Later I would learn that "Skeet's" was the great jazz guitarist Henry "Skeet's" McWilliams. Sometime in the mid to late 70's Skeet's Guitar Shop became Sherman's Guitar Shop. This would be Sherman Lee Dillon of "Did You Say Jaun Valdez" fame.
